Dreams That Go from One Experience to Another

I was having a dream about one thing, and some other dream jumped in and interrupted. In fact, about five different dreams did that. I was dreaming about being in a pasture and then some ninjas jumped out and attacked me. What does this mean, if anything? Why do dreams do that?

Dreams do not really jump in on each other at all. What happens is that in the Soul body you are jumping from one inner experience to another.

Soul can be in several different places at the same time. This is not unusual, because Soul runs at least one body on each of the lower planes, and sometimes more. What you see as skipping from one dream to another is like switching TV channels to see what programs are on. Such skipping about gets old, so we usually settle down to watch whatever interests us the most, like your dream of the ninjas.

Your experience with the ninjas in that dream world was real. When we watch violence on TV, it means we are in agreement with it inwardly. This opens us to nightmares. It’s better to watch happier programs or read uplifting books, if we want more restful dreams.
